Crying can help you reduce stress levels
Stress is a normal reaction that occurs when your body and mind undergo some changes. It can affect people of all ages and occurs in a variety of situations, from moving to a new city and changing your job, to meeting new people or attending an event. However, when your stressors start to increase, you will be more likely to develop chronic stress and too many episodes of stress can lead to serious health problems in the long run. Unfortunately, it can affect both your physical and mental health.
Nevertheless, your body is designed to react to it in different ways, and crying is one of them, among other symptoms, such as diarrhea, agitation, irritability, skin irritation and so on. Crying when stressed helps you reduce the tension in your body. (see more on the next page)
