Listen to your body signals
As I said before, one of the most important things that you have to do if you want to boost your digestion is to listen to your body signals. To be more specific, you should eat when your body tells you that you are hungry, and you should stop when you are full – so, you don’t have to eat all the food that is on your plate. Don’t forget that it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to realize that your stomach is actually full.
However, if you don’t eat when you are hungry, your body will start to consume other nutrients to produce energy, such as fats instead of carbs, which can affect your overall health. Plus, your body will begin to store fats to ensure that it has enough fuel to produce energy, so this can lead to weight gain and poor digestion.
