Try to avoid poor chewing

As I said before, chewing your food properly is extremely important if you want to improve your digestion. You should not only eat slowly, but you have to chew your food properly to avoid swallowing whole pieces of food that can be difficult to digest. The idea is that the smaller the pieces, the more able your digestive tract will be to break them down and transform them into energy.

It has been shown that poor chewing adversely affects the absorption of nutrients from your body, but if you chew your food thoroughly, your digestive tract will put less effort into turning food into liquids. Also, the longer you chew your food, the more saliva you produce, which is good for your digestion process.
