Stick to a strict sleeping routine

Another important step that you have to take to sleep well at night is to create a strict sleeping routine and try your best to stick to it. For instance, you should set an alarm and try to wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends. Also, apply the same rule when it comes to bedtime, plus don’t spend time on your phone at least an hour before going to bed.

Melatonin is a hormone that can be found naturally in your organism and helps your body relax and fall asleep. Some hormonal disorders can reduce the level of melatonin in your body and lead to insomnia or trouble falling asleep at night. In this case, people need some external help to sleep better again, and this problem can be solved with melatonin supplements recommended by your doctor, of course. Medicinal melatonin (namely these supplements) can usually be found in pill form. 

Until this moment, no side effects of using melatonin supplements have been reported, so they can be purchased without a prescription from a healthcare professional. But even though they are over the counter (OTC) drugs, you should still ask your doctor for more information about them.
