Create a plan
Before you go to the gym, you can create a plan and try to follow it. For example, try to set your goal for that day, such as cardio for ten minutes, thirty abs and so on.
“Sometimes exercising can be difficult because there is an unknown component like ‘how long should I work out,’ ‘what type of cardio should I do,’ etc. If you are able to plan it out, then you can develop a set of realistic expectations,” said Mark Mayfield, a licensed professional counselor and CEO of Mayfield Counseling Centers.
