One of the most important things that you have to take into consideration before starting your fitness routine is to take it easy. You don’t have to prove to anyone that you are able to do excessive workouts.
“For example, tell yourself that you only have to do 10 minutes on the treadmill. Next time, maybe try 12 minutes, the following week maybe work up to 15 minutes,” said Kasia Ciszewski, a licensed professional counselor in South Carolina, suggesting a “slow and steady wins the race” mentality.
