10. Wildfires US, 2015-2015

It is predicted by the environmental scientists from the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences that wildfire seasons in the US by 2015 will be twice as smoky, three weeks longer and will burn a larger portion of the West per year.

 

Since 1999, the US Geological Survey and the Forest Service have recorded that the acreage burned by wildfires has tripled from 2.2 million to 6.4 million every year. This means that much more of the United States will be in flames soon.
