John Lennon’s Killer
This is Mark David Chapman who shot John Lennon on December 8, 1980. In that day, Chapman asked John Lennon for an autograph, but the singer wanted to offer it later. However, Chapman stayed in the same area until Lennon returned, and he shoot him in the back four times with a 38-caliber pistol.
Mark Chapman was sentenced for 20 years in a maximum-security prison and he also received mandatory psychiatric treatment. Unfortunately, Chapman’s next parole hearing is this year in August, but let’s hope he will stay in prison, where he belongs.
