8. Dog Bark Park Inn – U.S.A

Are you a bit of a dog lover? Do you love dogs so much that you would be willing to book a room inside one? Well, the Dog Bark Park Inn located in Cottonwood on Idaho’s extensive prairie lands will have you barking up the right tree.

Opened in August 2003, this 12ft tall pooch, known colloquially as “Sweet Willy” by local residents, was designed and built by Dennis Sullivan & Frances Conklin. They had been carving folk-art wooden dogs with chainsaws for the last 15 years and took it that one step further by creating the World’s Biggest Beagle.

Their art was being sold very successfully so they decided to invest their money building the ultimate wooden dog. And boy, did they ever.
