St. Patrick’s Purgatory, Lough Derg, Ireland
This is a monastery built during the 15th century. It’s being said that St. Patrick had visions of this place being haunted by evil spirits and demons. Apparently, a cave nearby is a doorway to purgatory that St. Patrick found while he was living here.
