Women with high foreheads are considered attractive and beautiful in the Fula tribe of Africa. In general, in Western societies, people tend to hide their high forehead by cutting their hair so that they can have bangs that cover a significant part of their face. 

Unlike these women, the Fula women try to cut their bangs to create the illusion of a bigger forehead. It seems that this standard of beauty was also famous in medieval Europe.

A long neck – Burma
