Katy Perry is an American singer and songwriter. She used to sing in church during her childhood. However, she started her music career after signing with Red Hill Records and releasing her debut studio album called Katy Hudson (2001), but it was commercially unsuccessful.
However, a few years later, she released her second studio album called One of the Boys (2008) which brought her more recognition and critical acclaim. Since then, she has become one of the best selling music artists, having sold over 18 million albums worldwide.
She is also the recipient of various accolades, including four Guinness World Records, five Billboard Music Awards, five American Music Awards, a Brit Award, and a Juno Award.

This list is fine for right now. But when you say for all time, it is not even close. My personal choice (and I realize these choices are subjective) for #1 is Gene Tierney. My #2 is Grace Kelly. Both long gone. But what about Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Vivien Leigh, and so on? So many actresses of yesteryear were breathtaking, and that was before botox and cosmetic surgery.
