You will reduce the inflammation in your body
Inflammation is part of your body’s defense mechanism and is also important in the healing process. Hence, when your body detects an intruder, such as an irritant, viruses, bacteria and infections, it releases a biological response to try to remove it.
Unfortunately, sometimes your body will mistakenly see its own healthy cells or tissues as harmful, so your immune system will try to attack those cells. This process can lead to autoimmune diseases, such as hyperthyroidism, type 1 diabetes and so on.
Chronic inflammation is also associated with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, arthritis, allergies, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), psoriasis and other severe chronic diseases. In general, inflammation occurs when there is an infection in your body. (see more on the next page)
