Mayim Bialik
The Big Bang Theory star and natural parenting advocate with a Ph.D. degree in neuroscience from UCLA, Mayim Bialik has had a back and forth relationship with the subject of vaccines. She had in the past stated that her family was a “non-vaccinating” one and promoted the works of Dr. Bob Sears, a physician noted for his unorthodox and dangerous views on childhood vaccination.
However, in 2015 she wanted to clarify her stance on vaccinations and took to Twitter to say “I’m not anti. My kids are vaccinated. So much anger and hysteria. I hope this clears things up.” However, she would somewhat contradict herself by then posting about vaccine “freedom,” and encouraging her followers to “Do your research. Do what’s right for you.”
