Snails actually have thousands of teeth
Well, you would think that snails are slow and uninteresting creatures, but this is not true. We know that they are the epitome of laziness because of their movement and mobility, but they actually have some amazing features.Â
A snail has between 2,000 and 15,000 teeth that are inwardly oriented, which allows them to catch and swallow food easily.
The number of teeth is not the only fascinating feature of these slow moving creatures. Snails change their teeth like sharks. A new tooth string grows in the back of the mouth and gradually moves outwards to replace the worn ones.
