Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States – from 1801 to 1809.

Like any American school kid knows, Thomas Jefferson played an important role in American history and the development of this country, being the principal author of the Declaration of Independence. Besides the position of the politician, he was also a diplomat, a musician, and an architect.

It seems that Thomas Jefferson was very creative, especially when he contributed to the creation of the swivel chair (also known as the Windsor armchair). Well, he was not the original creator of this chair, but he modified it to make it more useful.

Another thing you probably did not know about the president was the fact that he really loved ice cream.
