As coronavirus continues to spread, many people want to know how to protect themselves and stay healthy. Believe it or not, our diet and mindset are essential in managing the health of the immune system. You have to keep in mind that when it comes to improving our health condition, eating healthy foods can have a major impact on our immune system, but it does not mean that you can’t contract the virus. Thus, you may have coronavirus, but a healthy immune system can fight viruses much better and, of course, healing is faster.

“I tell people to eat the rainbow. Berries are huge, whether they’re fresh or frozen. Then of course, any kind of leafy green,” said Dr. Bradley Dyer, a board certified in internal medicine.

Your quality of sleep is also important in this equation. “Even one night of sleep deprivation can lower your immune system transiently, temporarily,” Dyer said.

So, these suggestions may not protect you from contracting coronavirus, but they will help you stay as healthy as possible and help you heal quickly. Read on for more info!
