There are a lot of things that we have to take into consideration if we want to boost our overall health, such as stress level, physical activities or sleep quality. “Too much stress will weaken your immune system,” said Jameshia Sykes, a licensed counselor with The Laya Center. 

Your quality of sleep is also important in this equation. “Even one night of sleep deprivation can lower your immune system transiently, temporarily,” Dyer said.
