It is more than just a bad cold or flu
Individuals who were diagnosed with COVID-19 said that this disease does not resemble a normal cold or flu, and the symptoms are much more severe.
“It is not the flu, [people who have this virus] are fighting for air,” said Chiara DiGiallorenzo, a 25-year-old based in Miami who was infected with COVID-19.
Another woman who recently recovered from the novel coronavirus said that this disease should not be called a ‘bad cold’, because things are more complicated than we actually think. Her symptoms started with a severe fever that led to sinus congestion, a headache and hallucinations that did not let her focus. The 40-year-old patient said that she was really healthy before contracting the virus, but nevertheless, she had severe symptoms.
