You don’t choose healthy snacks

If you follow a fairly strict diet and eat only healthy foods at main meals, but choose the wrong snacks, all you do is slow down the weight loss process. A lot of people tend to eat unhealthy snacks at night, especially when watching a movie with their friends or family. 

“If someone is really having trouble and can’t stop the eating at night, then I suggest they choose foods that it won’t matter if they eat a ton of. Something like popcorn is really satisfying for many and while veggies are not so exciting, they’re always a good choice. I definitely recommend staying away from any artificial sweetener because that can make you hungrier,” recommends Smith. However, you should opt for natural popcorn, not those that are full of saturated fats.
