Toni Braxton
Another celebrity who claims that her son developed autism because of receiving the MMR vaccine is the multiple Grammy Award winning singer Toni Braxton. She has been a fierce critic of her doctor’s failure to diagnose her son Diezel’s condition earlier, believing that if he had done so, he may have received treatment earlier.
So certain is she that there is a direct link between the MMR vaccination and autism, she has become a spokeswoman for Autism Speaks, the largest autism advocacy organization in the United States. More troubling is her belief that her son Diezel’s autism was God’s punishment for her having previously gotten an abortion after discovering she was pregnant by then-boyfriend Keri Lewis.
