Smile more… even when you do not feel it

There are studies that show that smiling does not work only when we are relaxed and happy, but also when we force ourselves to smile because our condition improves. So, when you feel down, all you need to do is to smile for a few minutes in the mirror and you will see that your mood will be more positive than before.

“Smiling transmits nerve impulses from the facial muscles to the limbic system, a key emotional center in the brain, tilting the neurochemical balance toward calm,” says Robert Cooper, Ph.D., coauthor of The Power of 5, a book about health.
