Get adequate sleep

Did you know that humans can live longer without food than without sleep? Well, even though it may sound crazy, the truth is that sleeping is essential in our lives no matter your age. 

According to medical specialists, an older adult should sleep as much as a younger one, namely for up to nine hours every day, but not less than seven hours. 

Sleep deprivation can lead to serious health problems, such as depression, stress, irritability, memory problems and strokes.
