Sammy Davis Jr. 

Sammy Davis Jr. was an American singer, actor and comedian. He was regarded as the greatest entertainer in the United States. Davis started his vaudeville career with his father when he was only 3 years oldHis acting career began in 1933.  

After military service, Davis returned to the trio (where he worked with his father) and started to gain more and more fame, but unfortunately, a few years later, he lost his left eye in a car accident. He was the recipient of numerous accolades, including a Tony Award, a Golden Globe Award nomination, and an Emmy Award.  

In the 1960s, Davis was a member of a group of musicians called Rat Pack, along with Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin. Unfortunately, he died of throat cancer in 1990 while being in debt to the IRS.
