Mickey Rooney

Mickey Rooney was an American actor, comedian and producer who starred in over 300 films. He was regarded as one of the last surviving actors of the silent film era. As you probably already know, Rooney was also one of the highest paid actors of that era. In his early career, he was among the most consistently successful actors in America.

In the 1980s, he won a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award. What many people don’t know about Rooney is that he actually performed in vaudeville as a child, but made his film debut when he was only 6 years old. When he turned 19, he became the first teenager to be nominated for an Academy Award.

According to the mediawhen he passed away a few years ago, his family didn’t have enough money for burial expenses. It seems that he left $18,000 to his stepson, Mark Aber.
