Whitney Houston
Whitney Houston was an American singer and actress, regarded as one of the greatest singers in the world, as well as the best selling recording artists of all time. She made her acting debut in the romantic thriller film The Bodyguard (1992). The singer recorded six songs for the film’s soundtrack, including “I Will Always Love You”, which remains one of the best songs of all time.
However, back in 2012, Houston was found unconscious in her hotel room, submerged in the bathtub. According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, the singer died of drowning and the “effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use”. Unfortunately, she died shortly before finishing the production of the film Sparkle (2012).
